Cookie Policy

Which cookies and similar technologies Mediaory uses, why, and how to control them. In short: only what is needed to keep you signed in and to remember your choices — no analytics, no advertising, no tracking.

  1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, serve the same purposes. On this page we call all of them cookies.

  2. Cookies we use

    • cim_session — keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary. Set when you sign in; removed when you sign out or after at most 30 days. It holds a signed identifier, not your data.
    • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the language you chose. Functional. Kept for 1 year.
    • mediaory-panel-theme (your browser's local storage, not a cookie) — remembers light or dark mode in the app. Functional. Stays until you clear it.
  3. Cookies we do not use

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.

  4. Third parties

Where bot protection is switched on, the sign-up, password-reset and takedown forms load Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots. Cloudflare acts as our service provider; see the service providers page.

  5. Legal basis and consent

Strictly necessary and functional cookies are used to provide the service you asked for and on the basis of our legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f), so no consent banner is needed. If we ever add analytics or other optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

  6. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you cannot sign in; if you block the language cookie we fall back to your browser's language.

  7. Contact

Questions: [email protected]. For everything about how we handle personal data, see the Privacy Notice.
